Hi, my name is Karen and I’m fundraising for Samantha Pate Schabell’s sweet Kitten Franny.

Our sweet & adorable kitty Franny needs help! She’s an adorable medium haired brown tabbie adopted from our favorite sanctuary, Red Oak Animal Rescue- ROAR. In March, she had been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma at just the age of 3! Her surgery to remove the mass went successfully but cytology of the tumor confirmed it was fibrosarcoma. This aggressive cancer requires radiation or else it’s likely the tumor will start regrowing within months to a year. We were lucky that with our tax returns we were able to pay for the surgery, but now she will be required to get a CT scan and between 16-20 days of radiation therapy. The estimated cost for this treatment is between 8-10K - which is a rather daunting figure that’s currently beyond our means but we want to do everything possible to give this girl a chance at living out a longer life. She’s so happy playful and loving, she has no idea what’s going on inside her body, so I know this radiation is going to be worth it.

We are hoping we can get just a little bit of financial assistance for her radiation treatment! I mean look how cute she is! How could we not do anything possible to give her a longer life.
