On January 14 I had one of those life changing moments in a second. I was painting and was stepping over to a second story balcony from a ladder when I slipped and fell to the ground. I cut my forehead open , sprained my ankle ,  and broke my heel bone.  So I went from having two part time jobs to having none.
   On February 1 they did surgery and put on an external fixation device , it was like having a cage on my foot . No weight on it at all for 6 weeks. So March 15 it was removed , and a wrap and a boot put on it ,  and still no weight on it at all. I returned to the Dr. on March 28 and he told me another 3 weeks with no weight on it . Not being able to work is killing me.
   During that time I lost all income , so I need to raise approximately $5,000.00 for medical bills ,  my rent , utilities , auto insurance ,  food for my two dogs {that eat alot} and for myself . I have exhausted any means of income I had. 
   Since I have not had any income since the end of January , funding is needed asap. And there is no telling when I will be able to return to my normal activities. From my understanding of calcaneus fractures they  can take some time to heal . I just pray to God that I'm not one of the ones that takes 1-2 years to heal.
