On Saturday, March 11th Jeff was rushed and admitted to Norton Brownsboro hospital in Kentucky for seizures. He has not been able to clearly speak or have much use of his right side. This morning they were considering removing the EEG and all of sudden he went into a seizure for 28 minutes and is currently in the ICU. They are running tests but unfortunately do not have any answers yet.
Vanessa and Jeff recently moved to Kentucky (Jeff's hometown). At this time Vanessa MUST stay by his side and advocate to get answers and results from the Doctors for Jeff. This fundraiser is to help relieve some of the stress of missing work, with the recent move and starting a new career in KY there is no qualification for them to receive any other assistance. I will post below a brief history of Jeff's brain surgery journey.
In 2010 he was diagnosed with Anplastic oligodendroglioma of the frontal lobe and was given 5 years to live. The tumor was removed and he FOUGHT BACK and regained his motor skills from scratch and he ended up moving to California. In 2019 he began having seizures again and they went in and removed a calvernous malformation (sp). After recovery, he has been stable with regular MRI check-ups every 6 months which have been showing normal.
This has been a complete shock to Vanessa and his family and friends. ANY amount big or small will be very much appreciated by the Close family to help relieve financial burden and stress during this time. We are all very hopeful to know more soon and for a full recovery! Thank you all in advance.
