Saving Jeff / Vet Medical Fund

This isn't for me. It's for Jeff, my dog. Please help us save him. 

Last night, we found out he has numerous kidney stones ranging in size from small to, according to the vet, HUGE. His bladder ruptured and his abdomen was filled (you could see the bulge) with urine. They drained him overnight (I called to check on him at 3 this morning). 

Now, they have to try to get the kidney stones out, which will involve a surgery. Then, they will need to repair his bladder (we don't know how bad it ruptured). Throughout this, they have to check his kidneys. If he can get through this, he has years ahead of him. 

Current cost is $1500, but we're only at the beginning. 

My wife and I are both unemployed -- or marginally employed. We're already behind on our human bills, including our own health insurance. But I have to save Jeff. He's my buddy. I'm crying. He's my fur-child. 

We just lost Sam, our Australian Shepherd, a week ago. 

I just ask for your help. I don't want to.
