Hey Fridge Fam! We have been bestowed the amazing opportunity to partner up with Richmond Food Not Bombs and get a storefront building in Northside!!
We are looking to get in a 3 year lease, and will have to pay for costs to finish the interior of the store to operate with walk in fridges, and a fully stocked kitchen space we are looking to utilize for and share with the community!
With this new space we are looking to hold community events, cooking showcases, group meal preparations, and of course provide free food! There will be volunteer days and events to sign up for, as well as the usual pick up and drop off of goods to distribute to your local RVA Community Fridges throughout the week
We hope you all are as excited to see this come to fruition as we are and we can not wait to open our doors to the community soon!
