Dear Friends & Family,
I should probably start off on how my mom is gonna want to kill me for doing this. She isn't going to be happy that i am reaching out to you all. But that's too bad, everyone deserves a chance to recieve some help and not feel so guilty about it once in a while. -Arianna
Those of you who know our mom Karen, know that she is like an energizer bunny (which is what she referes to herself as). Our mom never stops moving. She is always doing something to keep herself busy. We think of our mom as our superwoman. As a family we have always remained strong and never falen apart no matter what situation is thrown at us. We like to give all that credit of being so strong to our mom who made it seem like she was invincible as we were growing up. Our mom is the most caring person we know. She is always so busy caring about everyone else that she doesn't care enough about herself. She puts herself last. But it is time for that to change; it is her turn to be put first.
Recently, our mom has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This means no more moving around like crazy, not being able to go to work, and no more taking care of everyone else around her. This now means surgery, after care, and lots and lots of bed rest. With our mom out of work leaves us, her kids, as the ones working hard to bring home every little bit we can. Not only are tehre monthly bills to worry about, there is going to be an abundance of hospital bills. Once my mom found out that she was sick she automatically began to stress out about how she is going to pay bills. She does not need the stress. It is not good for her health and recovery. It is a fact that stress can worsen pain, which our mom is in plenty of. Everyone has their own bills at home to worry about, but we arent asking for much. We are not the type of family to ask for anyone else's help, we are the type of family to offer our help to everyone around us.
Every little bit counts. Every little bit will make a difference. Every little bit will make for a brighter light at the end of the tunnel. Many may know that we also faced the loss of our dad back in Jauary, and as a family we were able to face the pain and live with the loss. We know that we are a strong family and that we are going to make it through this just like we do every other obstaclet that we face. So for those of you that know our mom, care about her, and want to help please feel free to donate and help our family. Ourselves, as well as the entire family will be more than grateful to revieve donations of any type. Little or big, whoever you are you we thank you and appreciate knowing that our mom is surrounded by such big hearted people.
Thank you for taking the time to read!
Please help & share!!!
With love,
Arianna, Tara, and Karen.
