On August 14, 2015 my whole world changed. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer! I immediately started to go downhill thinking about all the what if's.....what if I don't have much time to live......what if it has spread......what if I die within the next year. I couldn't even bare to look at my children knowing that I have just received a death sentence. I began writing an "all about mommy," book so that in case I died my children could read this book and get to know me since they are so young if I died I would only be a faint memory and they may feel when they get older that they didn't really get to know me. In the "all about mommy book," I began writing my likes dislikes hobbies and passion and above all my endless love for them.  It's now almost two months after my diagnosing, a double mastectomy and one chemo treatment my outlook on my prognosis has made a 360 thanks to my husband Eddie who has filled me with love hope and incredible support. He said to me one day during one of my crying out moments "you have given up and the battle has not even begun." I snapped out of it that very moment and decided that I have Cancer...cancer does not have me! Failure is no longer an option. I have 7 more chemo treatments, 4 months and 2 more surgeries to go! I am not giving up but while I endure this process our finances have been cut short due to missing work for over a month.
