Brain Cancer Sucks!
Back in April 2018, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Over the past two years we have tracked with scans and it has remained stable for the most part. On this last scan that all changed and it has shown signs of becoming more aggressive. In turn, I am starting chemo Thursday (April 9th, 2020), and going down to MD Anderson next Monday to seek a second opinion.
I work for an amazing company based out of Provo, UT called Qualtrics. You may already be aware of how they look at cancer but I want to come together and wipe it out together. So many of my colleagues have reached out asking in addition to thoughts/prayers what more I might need. I’ve never been one to ask for charity but with my inability to work the cost of food and additional supplements that are not covered by my insurance are beginning to add up.
Whatever I am able to raise, I am taking 25% of the proceeds and donating to 5 for the Fight. The whole time they have been by my side, so I desperately want to return the favor.
