After a 3 month medical leave, I returned to work to find that we couldn't reach a mutually acceptable agreement with the accommodations I needed. With my savings drained from leave and no new job lined up, my disabled partner and I are now homeless. We are living in a 6 person tent with our two dogs. We had already planned to live full-time in an RV, so we're looking at this as a push in the direction we want to go with our lives. While I usually work entirely from home, our current living arrangement does not allow for reliable internet or enough power to run a laptop, which limits my ability to work. The funds will be used to purchase a reliable RV (which are very cheap at this time of year), outfit it with a satellite dish and cell and wifi extenders. Any additional funds will go towards replacing tires and other repairs and or survival while I find new work.
