Ruvim’s Road To Recovery❤️

Hello everyone,
My name is Kristina Matveyev, my cousin Ruvim Matveyev was involved in a tragic head on collision while quading, on Saturday may 11th, sustaining multiple injuries, including a broken arm, broken ribs, a spine injury and more internal injuries that we are slowly discovering. He was airflighted to OHSU after the accident and is currently in the ICU.
He is unable to move or do anything else on his own, but still fighting very hard. Breathing, talking, and swallowing, among other things, are all a huge struggle for him causing excruciating pain.
He will be out of work for what we assume will be months, in which he’ll be in recovery and physical therapy to regain strength in his arms and entire body.
He is loved by all and is always willing to help everyone around him however he could. He is always going and doing something, so with him having to stay in bed and not be able to do anything on his own will be very discouraging and difficult for him.
All of the medical bills are adding up, and a long road to recovery ahead. Any and every donation we receive is going to help alleviate the financial stress and burden among him and his family.
We’re asking that everyone rally together around Ruvim, showing him he is not alone in the fight. All of the prayers and support he receives is greatly appreciated.
We appreciate all of your generosity and prayers and will continue to update as we find things out but as of right now it is still fresh and very difficult.
We ask for prayers of a speedy recovery, miraculous heeling and answers to the unknown (no feeling in his left arm that the doctors are unsure about). We pray for wisdom over the doctors and nurses that are working around Ruvim 24/7. We thank Jesus that we have Ruvim and the committed medical staff in constant contact with us. We pray for the comfort of Ruvim and that his faith does not wither. We pray that he feels no discouragement but only love and community.
