In Loving Memory of Ruvimbo Nyamubarwa
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ruvimbo Nyamubarwa, who left us yesterday after a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer and its complications.
Ruvimbo was first diagnosed in 2020 with an aggressive form of breast cancer that had already spread to multiple areas of her body. Despite the challenges, she faced her illness with remarkable strength, grace, and resilience, undergoing chemotherapy from 2021 and continuing to fight every single day.
In May 2024, she came to the UK to continue her treatment and access specialised care, holding on to hope and cherishing every moment with her loved ones. Even in the face of pain and uncertainty, Ruvimbo remained strong and determined.
In November 2025, her condition worsened as she was diagnosed with liver failure. By January 2026, she required a liver drain and was frequently in and out of hospital. Despite everything she endured, she continued to fight with courage until the very end.
Ruvimbo was more than her illness. She was a beloved daughter, friend, and family member whose strength, warmth, and spirit touched everyone around her.
We are now raising funds to:
Support funeral and memorial arrangements
Assist her family during this incredibly difficult time
Help cover medical and related expenses incurred during her illness
Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in supporting her family and giving Ruvimbo the dignified farewell she deserves.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping her family in your thoughts and prayers.
May her soul rest in peace.
