Ruthie Tally Memorial Scholarship

Ruthie Tally was a life long member of the band booster organizations in the communities in which she lived. She was a tireless volunteer and spent countless hours working to help the band students in Marble Falls and Mexia realize their goals. One of the students she influenced is the director of bands at Scoggins MS, Mr. Adam Davis.  Ruthie's daughter, Linda, would like to see deserving  band students continue to benefit from the incredible opportunities that are available in an outstanding band program. Funds from this scholarship would be used to help with the cost of  private lessons, provide financial assistance to band camp, or help deserving students with other needs as deemed appropriate by the Scoggins MS Band Boosters and the directors.
