Hi, I'm Lynn and I am raising money for Ruth's family to help with funeral expenses. I worked with Ruth for the last 17 years. Ruth was one of the kindest people to ever walk this planet. She loved the people that she supported. She worked primarily at one house but was important to so many people in so many of our homes. Ruth was a trusted supporter of her colleagues across the agency. She mentored new employees, offered her support and knowledge to help new people learn the ropes, and was always there to provide a friendly shoulder and an encouraging word. Her warmth was one of her greatest gifts – one that so many people have limitless examples to share. Although Ruth worked at DD Res, her friendships at The Center transcended program limits. Ruth was one of those people who knew everyone and always had the warmest smile and a heartfelt genuine concern for everyone. Her native country was Uganda. Ruth was proud to share her stories and culture.

I will remember Ruth's smiles and hugs forever. She had a way of making you feel ok even when nothing was ok. Please donate to help her family.
