Hello all, we're looking to raise some money to help with some recent and upcoming vet costs.
Ruth is a 7 month old puppy who loves the woods and going to the dog park. We rescued her from the Kennebec Valley humane society in late May.
Shortly after we adopted her we were told her leg would need surgery to correct its excessive rotation. This causes her some pain and limping after play. It is definitely part of her unique charm!
Before we could go forward with the leg surgery, Ruth unfortunately swallowed a bully stick. Although they are fully digestible it caused complications and she needed emergency surgery.
All of this comes at a time when our landlord unexpectedly decided to sell our building. The uncertainty of what will happen with our housing situation paired with Ruths rising veterinary bill has led us to ask for help. The total cost of the two surgeries is $7000 we are hoping to raise $4000 and appreciate any help we can get. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support.
