Ruth López Aparicio was an Allan Hancock College student. Spanish was one of her majors. She participated in the Spanish Debate Team and she was the Student Vice President Central of the LLNCCC. 

She passed away on Sunday  morning after fitting tuberculosis and due to her lupus condition, her system could not fight it anymore.
