Ruth Hansen-Towle Fund

Ruth Hansen-Towle is 44 years old. She recently resigned from her credit union position to start a new job venture but before she could secure the job offer, she was afflicted with acute pancreatitis, a seizure and cardiac arrest. She was resuscitated after 10 minutes and then spent the  next 11 days in a coma on a ventilator before waking up. With the ventilator off on day 15, the Trach in and a report that her pancreas is failing, present and future challenges abound.  We don’t know how much rehab she will require or how soon she will be able to return to work. Her credit union medical insurance ends April 30th. She has been in St Peter Hospital CCU for 17 days since April 8. Many have asked how they can help.
