Well what a year 2023 has been and 2024 has life changing thing happening for Ruth.

Ruth went in for a routine operation on Sept 12th which went well. 43cm of her bowel was removed - she went to the ward to recover and it all went wrong .... her bowel burst, she got sepsis, covid and pneumonia and was put in a coma for 3 months! She had 2 further surgery's - almost died 3 times, had total organ failure / as a result of this her hands and feet died. She is now waiting for surgery to have both feet & 1 hand and part of other hand removed. She will be in a wheelchair for a while as she awaits for prosthetics.
