Ruth and Jim Tracy: Community Pillars and Friends
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Deanna and I want to introduce you to my dear friends Ruth and Jim Tracy who are going through such a hard time right now and could really use all of our help. I have known them since I was a little girl and they have mentored me, my husband, and all three of my sons as youth pastors over the last few decades. Ruth Tracy and her husband, Jim Tracy, are beautiful, selfless and giving people. They are long-time residents of coastal Maine and pillars in their local community and Ellsworth church where they served as youth pastors for many decades. Jim is also a dedicated Special Needs teacher in the Ellsworth public schools. Recently, Ruth had life-threatening heart complications and was life-flighted to a larger hospital far from home where she had to undergo serious open-heart surgery. All the while, Jim has faithfully stayed by her side, which means he has been out of work for several weeks. Ruth is still weak and remains under medical care to see if the operation will bring a successful outcome. Her medical team plan to keep her there in the hospital for recovery and observation for at least another two weeks. At which time they will decide if she is able to return home or be life-flighted to Boston for a heart transplant. This means Jim will continue to be out of work. And as we all know, financial burdens don’t patiently wait for you to overcome other burdens. Ruth and Jim are in desperate need of help to relieve the financial stress while they maneuver through these other grave obstacles. Any donation you could give would be a huge blessing and so very appreciated. Every donation will go directly to Ruth and Jim to help keep them on track financially with their monthly expenses as well as cover medical expenses and Jim's living expenses (lodging, food, gas) to stay close to the hospital so he can be with Ruth. Thank You for your generous giving!
