Shawna, Marshall and their children’s home was devastated by a fire on Sunday!
These are Shawna’s own words posted on Facebook that so many people are seeing.
“God is with us, always. We’re safe, kids are healthy and we will come back from this. The past 24 hours have been exhausting! We were away from the house for around 45ish minutes and came home to smoke and fire. Lewes Fire Department was amazing and quickly responded, put out flames and vented the house. We were able to go back in today and the initial reports say the interior is a complete loss due to fire, and chemical/smoke. We have been EXTREMELY blessed by way too many to thank, but appreciate all the calls, texts, clothes, rides, hugs, prayers, thoughts, and so much more ❤️. Be kind.”
Shawna spends much of her time assisting children and young adults throughout our Cape Henlopen School District who need that extra love ❤️
Shawna also runs the CapeCommunityCares Facebook Page that brings so much hope to so many families in need ❤️
Well everyone, Shawna, Marshall and her family need us to “be kind” and show them a little extra love if you can.
