Hi, my name is Adam Presley. I’m 25 years old, and my 3-year-old Basset Hound, Rusty, is my first dog.

Over the past few months, Rusty has developed a bladder stone that hasn’t been able to be resolved through typical medication. Unfortunately, my only option to remove it is through surgery, which has become a daunting financial challenge for me.

Rusty is an energetic, loving, and happy young hound. He loves to run and play fetch, always wants to cuddle with me at night, and even whines when he misses me. He is, without a doubt a huge part of my life.

All I want right now is the chance to see him live a long, healthy life by my side. I cannot fathom having to put down my first dog, at only 3 years old, due to something that is treatable but financially out of reach.

I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do this alone. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to both of us.
