Rusty Bucket Fire Relief

Rusty Bucket has recently experienced heartbreak on the farm. The beautiful hand-crafted chicken coop cottage went up in flames on Thursday afternoon. The coop was the sanctuary to our winged friends that we loved so much. Each one with its own name and personality. The fire completely demolished the building, and numerous chickens lost their lives to the fire. This is a challenging time for Shelly and Lorna due to the heartbreak and the financial hardship this brings them.

 

Shelly and Lorna are determined to rebuild the coop and continue to provide therapeutic farm experiences to our community. The coop offers hands-on experiences where adults and children can feed and hold chicks, purchase farm-fresh organic eggs, and experience what it means to be part of a flock.
