My friend Russell Ferguson needs our help.
A short out while ago, Russell was diagnosed with colon cancer. This is such a huge shock to all of us who know and love him. He is scheduled for surgery in mid March.
Doctors are confident that they will be able to remove the cancer, but what lies ahead will be unknown until after that time.
Russell will have a lengthy recovery time from the surgery... which is coming quickly, and given that he is self employed and runs his own small business, the time that he is not working he will not be earning an income. This will be a great hardship for him and his family. Russell has worked hard over the last handful of years just to break even and make his business the success that it has become recently. Still, a month with no work is a major financial setback.
it is my hope that this notice of Russell's dilemma will motivate us all to help him make ends meet while he is recovering. We can help Russell get through this roadblock without him having to worry about how to make ends meet, and how to recoup lost income. Let's help him concentrate on his recovery!!
Russell is one of the first people to step up and help others in need. It is now our turn to help him when needs it most.
Please help in any way you can. All donations are welcomed and hugely appreciated!!
It is also vitally important to share this posting on any social media sites that you may be on, or forward it via email to all family and friends. Power is in numbers, and the more people that see this, the greater the chance that we can help Russell through this difficult time.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
