I am pleading with you all to donate what you can to the repairs of my upright bass, Bessie. Earlier this year, an Uber driver destroyed my instrument after trying to help me take it out of the car despite my pleas with him not to because of its fragility. The neck was severed in such a way that it cracked down the face of the instrument, leading to more severe damages.
