In Memory of Russell D. Greiner - Raising Funeral Expenses

This GoFundMe is in loving memorial of Russell David Greiner, to provide financial support to Melody, his wife of 33 years, as she navigates this heartbreak, grief, and understanding life without him.

I am Dustin, his son, and am creating and running this on her behalf.

Russell has heroically fought Follicular Lymphoma, a type of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Histiocytic Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that attacks your gastrointestinal systems, since July 2023, and tragically he passed away on April 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife, son Cody, daughter-in-law Stephanie and other family members who were able to join him in his final days.

As we look at the final expenses our family will have providing our loving Husband and Dad his modest final wishes, we are reaching out for help.

The battle Dad fought was not just long and difficult on his body, but on the family's resources. While there is life insurance and benefits that will be available to our Mom in the mid-term and future, the immediate expenses for arrangements with the funeral home and other related expenses are overwhelming after nearly a year of fighting this vicious battle as a full time job.

We will love and miss him always, and share his story as much as we can to carry on his memory.
