Russell Coughlin NFA Journalism Award

Our father Russell Coughlin passed away on December 16th after a short battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers for his funeral, the family would like to start a scholarship fund in his memory. Russell was a dedicated English teacher at Newburgh Free Academy for 36 years. His passion was teaching Journalism and Creative Writing. We would like to give an annual scholarship to an NFA senior who plans to pursue a career as an English teacher with a focus on Journalism.
