Russ Weider's Support Team

Seven months ago Russ was diagnosed with an agressive form of bladder cancer. He had 2 unsuccessful surgeries and one round of chemo before we made the decision to remove his bladder, prostate and 47 lymph nodes, before it spread to the muscle and surrounding tissues. 

On April 30th his bladder was removed and a new bladder, called neo bladder, was created from his intestines during a 6 hour surgery. 
Russ is strong, he's doing well considering all he's been through. He's healing nicely but it's a slow process. He won't be able to work a regular job for several more months.
