Russ survived a horrible car crash

Our dear friend Russ was in a horrible car crash on his way home from work yesterday and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit.  Doctors performed surgery to stop bleeding in his brain.

Thankfully, Tavie reports that he does not appear to be brain-damaged. But he is in severe pain and she expects a long and difficult recovery.  

Russ works in the service industry, so he does not have health insurance or paid time off. His car looks like it is wrecked beyond repair, and his car insurance is only the state legal minimum.  

Anyone who knows Russ or Tavie knows that they are wonderful people who would do anything for friends in need so of course we are doing the same for them. <3
