My name is John Rogers and I am asking your help for my brother Russell who suffered a devastating loss when his home burned down yesterday while he was away visiting friends for Thanksgiving. Sadly, it is a total loss including all of his personal possessions and much of his painting business equipment.

Russ grew up in San Luis Obispo, and has been a self employed painting contractor for more than 30 years in SLO, Santa Barbara and Pine Mountain Club (where his home was). This tragedy will cripple his ability to work.

It will be a long road back for Russ and any help you can give will aid him in his start to somehow recover. Imagine what it would feel like to lose everything you own . . . your important papers, business records and computer, family treasures, clothes, favorite pictures, all your appliances, your place to live . . . Literally everything.
