Hi, My name is Angela and I share my life with two, senior, adopted, rescue dogs, Luna and Russ, who are my whole world. Russ recently turned 13 and he was adopted just before he was 10.5 years old. He had a MASSIVE leg tumour (soft tissue sarcoma) removed last year with unclear margins as clear margins were impossible due to size and location. It has now returned and has worsened by grading. The next steps are CT scanning first and then high dose chemo or amputation with high dose chemo if the tumour hasn't spread beyond the leg. Until now, I haven't reached out to ask for any financial help as I've found a way to manage. Recent surgery and diagnostic testing bills for Russ, along with normal household bills, have just decimated my savings so I'm now swallowing my pride to ask for help so that Russ can hopefully get what's needed for him to have a fighting chance, sooner rather than later.
