Russ Mace was born and raised in Cheney, Washington.  He was married for 46 years to his wife Jane and worked for Lydig Construction for 50 years.  His passion in life was firefighting.  He volunteered with Cheney Fire Department for 31 years and Spokane County Fire District 3, where he was a 56-year member reaching the rank of Battalion Chief.  Can you see a pattern?  He knew what he liked and he stayed with it.

Russ’ family now needs our help.  Russ was diagnosed with stomach cancer a few weeks ago and passed away on May 14th.   Any donation to help offset the hospital stay and funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

Russ lived his life always thinking about others.   Russ was a good man and loved what he did helping the community.  Let’s show our support for his family in their time of need.
