Hi, my name is Jill Allen Iversen and I'm creating this to help some dear friends and mentors and HUGE volunteers of our racing organization, SCTA-BNI.

The hours Russ Eyres devotes to work for all of us involved in landspeed racing is beyond a number to track. Eric Eyres was the longstanding president of SDRC. They have helped numerous folks make their first runs and fastest runs! I'm hoping our huge community of racers can pitch in. Whatever you can contribute will help and be appreciated. The cleanup cost alone is astronomical.

Here is a short list of what was lost: #832 Roadster LSR car, 1929 Ford, 1940 Ford, car bodies, roll cages, tires, tractors, welders, dyno, generators, race car parts, lifts, pulleys, two and four hoists, drill presses, 4 full rollaway toolboxes, transmission jacks, mill tooling, hydraulic press. All orange grove maintenance tools. Trophies, pictures, posters. Three stories and four houses long burned to the ground due to an electrical fire. 35 years of memories and tools. Please help with whatever you can. It's too fresh to know future plans.
