Rush Smith’s Medical and Funeral Expenses

I am very saddened to announce the death of our family member Rush Smith. Rush leaves behind his wife Carley of 25 years and his four children.

On the 4th of July, Rush had a major heart attack. Over the last 13 days he had been fighting additional blood clots, pneumonia, kidney failure and infections in the ICU. Over past few days we begun to see improvements and thought this nightmare was starting to end. Overnight, his oxygen levels depleted and after multiple attempts to resuscitate him, his lungs filled with fluid and he passed away. He was 51 years old.

Rush is an incredible person loved by everyone who knew him. He spent his life serving others. He was humble and kind, and the kind of person you could rely on to help with anything.

This unexpected passing have left us all heartbroken.

Rush was the sole provider of the family. As we try to begin to pick up the pieces for his family, we wanted to help their financial burden through Go Fund Me to cover medical and funeral expenses. Thank you for your support during this time.
