Rusch Family Benefit Fund

Hello family and friends, 


On September 15th early in the morning Mike peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior. We are beyond grateful that he is no longer in pain and is in Heaven with Jesus. Mike had been fighting esophageal cancer for nearly a year and a half. These last few weeks and months the treatments were unfortunately not as successful in treating the cancer as we had hoped.


For some time, Mike and Lynae have been able to take care of their financial needs using gifts and funds from their savings especially for medical expenses. However, with Mike’s health declining these past few months he has been unable to work and provide an income. Lynae also hasn’t been able to work as she has been Mike’s primary caregiver especially these last few weeks. 


We sincerely appreciate all the prayers, words of encouragement and meals so many of you have provided for the Rusch family. Many of you have been wanting to help, especially in tangible ways. Until now we haven’t known what to ask for but most recently we are aware of the magnitude of the Rusch family’s financial needs. We are asking for financial assistance in order to help Lynae and the girls as they transition during this challenging period of life. These donations will help with the costs of health insurance, funeral arrangements and other related expenses. Again, thank you all for everything this past year and all you will continue to do, we appreciate it dearly.
