Ruri Kongou of the Tori family

I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of RIM of the Tori family to contribute funds to the survivors of a beloved friend from Final Fantasy XIV, Ruri Kongou, also known as Kiwii Jones. My name is Travis Drew, character name Relax Bear on the FFXIV server Midgardsormr and previously Fedex Man on the Balmung server. I have known Ruri since 2014, and hosted him with our Fortune Crookies Free Company at the 2016 and 2018 Fanfests, as well as meeting him in his home city of Tokyo in 2019. When we received the news of Ruri's sudden passing, we immediately reached out to see if we could contribute to funeral proceedings. RIM has provided us with a way to contribute to her, and as so many people were touched by Ruri both in FFXIV and in person at Fanfest, we are setting up a GoFundMe to collect what we can for their family. If you can donate or share stories of Ruri, we will collect these and provide them to RIM together with a list of names of all contributors on the 18th of January.
