Hello. It’s Donna. I live in rural Miami County KS in a tight knit community of about 50 residents. I love my neighbors. One of my neighbors is in dire straits and I’m afraid he will lose more than he’s already lost. He already receives government assistance but they’ve recently changed the guidelines and he must now choose between medicine for a bad heart, or food. The cuts are rough for anyone living on the line. You know I can’t share his name but you also know every cent will go directly to him from me. I’m asking for thousands so he can budget monthly for food and be able to get his heart meds to stay alive. But I’m only asking you for as little or as much as you can do. He’s a little older than me and completely on his own. I will do what I can to cook, buy extra, etc. but I can’t afford it all. You guys and gals are the best people I know. I’ve watched you save lives and benefit our communities. Will you help? Please?
