Need your support with food and books for students in villages in Gujarat India.
A middle school in a village called Ozar, western India, near Valsad city and district. 60+ Students from the surrounding area of Kaprada neighborhood. This student's family leaves below the poverty line and sends their kids for health and better education. Students stay at the school, get an education but need support for their lunch and dinner services. School infrastructure and classrooms are in better shape but need help with the textbook and handbooks. The local government provides the teaching staff but does not have funding for the food. We need to raise $2500+ to support their six months with grocery and vegetable bills. I have visited this school in India in February 2021 and supported them financially for one month. Now I am planning with your help to keep supporting them for a more extended period (6+ Months).
1. Lunch/Dinner Services - vegetables, grains, and spices for the student to prepare for their meal. Local merchants and provide grocery and bill are submitted to the headmaster.
2. Books - we need books and textbook for the 60+ kids
The approximate cost of each of the above is as follow
1. Lunch/Dinner Services-Indian Rs 140000 or USD $2000.00
2. Books -Indian Rs 35,000 or USD $500.00
