Rural pastor who lost vehicle to fire.

Hi my name is Nathan, I am from Schurz, NV. First, I want to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to create a GoFundMe page. I have never done one for myself before, this is out of the norm, I am usually the one helping others.
Here’s a summary for acquaintances and friends of friends and those with kind hearts who wish to help contribute to my GoFundMe page. I am a single father and Native American pastor serving in rural Nevada. I work part time and use my vehicle primarily for ministry, traveling from town to town and occasionally to the city and out of state for conferences/course work/training. I make home, hospital, and jail house visits. I work with various faith communities, organizations, and governments. I officiate weddings, funerals, and other events, locally and abroad. These are just some of the things that I do. I have an older Chevy pickup (94’) that is getting me by for the time being. However, the Hyundai Tucson was my primary and most reliable transportation that I used to travel out of town. Two days ago, I was getting ready for a medical appointment followed by clergy boundary training in Reno, NV. (100 miles-1way). My car was warming up as I was getting ready. As I hurried out the door, I found my car on fire which is about 10 feet from the house. I ran to get the garden hose and quickly called 911. I began squirting down the car hoping that it wouldn’t engulf in flames which would have ignited my house on fire. I yelled and pounded on the house outside of the room where one of my daughters was asleep to wake her to come outside. She woke up, came out and I had her squirt water onto the car while I ran to grab an axe pick to puncture holes on top of the hood to douse the fire. It did not extinguish the fire, but it gave us enough time for help to arrive. A lone EMT arrived in an ambulance armed with a fire extinguisher. I live on an Indian reservation (First responder-volunteer based). The retardant immediately put out the flames but did not fully extinguish it. I ran to get a pry bar to break open the hood because the lever had melted. I began to pry open the hood, a police officer later arrived and began to help. We got the hood opened which allowed us to douse the fire completely and stop the smoldering. I recently paid off my vehicle and to save some money, as I am on a very tight budget, I removed the full coverage policy on it. My insurance company cannot do anything about the vehicle and so my car is a total loss. I sincerely thank you for the thoughts and prayers as this could have ended badly. I am asking for help in raising funds that would go towards purchasing a reliable vehicle. Your contribution will not be in vain, but you would be investing in my ministry that helps to serve not only my own community but neighboring communities as well. God bless!
