This request for financial assistance is for Derlon Jasper Martinez. He came to our country legally in 2024 and was authorized to work until June of 2026. Due to circumstances beyond his control, his work authorization and legal status being terminated early, he has now decided to return home rather than try and remain illegally. He had just recently obtained work with a stable company, will now need to resign, and needs financial assistance to safely travel home, reunite with his family and begin looking for work.

I have gotten to know Jasper through a community volunteer operation in which we both were working. Since meeting him and working together for the past 6 months, I have learned that he is a man of very high character and is trying to create a better life for his wife and 3 children. Most importantly, I count him as my brother in Christ. Galatians 6:2 tells us “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

I hope you will consider helping financially and pray for his safe trip home.
