Ruprecht Family - Marshall Fire Superior Colorado
Donation protected
With their neighbor's house on fire, the Ruprecht's had seconds to evacuate. With hurricane force winds, their entire neighborhood was engulfed in flames in minutes. Their neighborhood was right behind the Target in Superior - which many of us have seen on news coverage of the Marshall Fire - and was the first to burn with ferocity.
Thankfully, they are all safe including their beloved, fluffy dog, Darwin. But all of their possessions and keepsakes are gone.
Their daughter is the captain of the Ultimate Frisbee Team at Monarch High School. My youngest says she is a soft-spoken, gentle, effective leader that all the newbies love and appreciate. Their son has played Ultimate with my oldest for years and is an enthusiastic, positive force
This fund is to help them get their footing. We are grateful that our home was spared from fire. The Ruprecht's, and hundreds of others, weren't as lucky. The Ruprecht Family needs a place to lay their heads. They need clothes and toiletries and dishes. A dog toy or two, and definitely a frisbee and some running shoes would nourish their hearts.
While they sort out insurance and figure out how to move forward, let's lend them a hand.
Thank you for your support!
