My name is Lisa and my 3 year old whippet Rupert has been hospitalised today. He has a very high temperature and heart rate. The vets are running tests and doing an abdominal scan and keeping him in tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully with meds and fluids he will get better and can come home but the cost for that has been estimated at £3,700. If they find anything on the scan he will need an operation and the total will be considerably more.

The vet bill is enormous and I'm a full time carer for my disabled daughter so am unable to work. I would really appreaciate any help at all, big or small to go towards Ruperts treatment.
