Rupert's amputation

Hello, my name is Louise. I am a passionate dog lover who's currently travelling in Sri Lanka.

Whilst in Galle fort I came across this gorgeous boy who has a horrific broken leg.

I managed to convince a tuk tuk driver to kindly drive me to Dog Care Clinic with the help of a local man and some difficult translation.

Dog Care Clinic say he is a young dog, 2 years old and he has long suffered with this leg and has no other choice but to have it amputated with a long recovery ahead. I have named him Rupert. (Inspired by rupees!)

I would like to raise as much as possible towards his surgery and to help out an amazing charity that work tirelessly to improve the lives of street dogs in Sri Lanka.
