My brother Rupert Tripp Jr & his wife Adele , who is also his caregiver, left their home in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, August 25. Palo Alto Veterans Hospital in California is where Rupert has been hospitalized and has under gone several testing & surgeries. Currently He remains there in rehabilitation.
In September 2009, Rupert was driving home through Waimea when he was involved in a tragic automobile accident that claimed three lives and left him with multiple injuries which required numerous surgeries and many health challenges. A drunk driver hit him head-on.
Rupert’s bills keep mounting, his house mortgage and other financial obligations. We have set up a go fund me account in Rupert’s name. We humbly ask for your financial support. Your sincere prayers of peace, comfort and healing. Rupert is a musician which is his only source of income. Rupert's wife, Adele, is accompanying him and had to take a leave of absence from her job to assist her husband in any way possible. Rupert is a veteran. He served in the United States Air Force. An award winning musician & songwriter. He also won the 2017 Na Hoku Hanohano "Religious album" of the year award. Rupert is also a pastor of Kingdom culture church here in Hilo, Hawaii. So as Rupert faces the medical, physical & financial challenges of another day, we as a family would like to extend our love & gratitude for your SUPPORT of Rupert. Mahalo & Aloha….
