RUNS FOR BCC

Mission:  To raise money for Bonbeach Cricket Club by running 188km over 9 days!

Summary: My cricket club has been hit hard with the COVID19 pandemic, with many local businesses who have been fantastic supports over previous seasons, unfortunately not in a position to assist as they have done previously. I’m completing this run to help raise some money for the club along with raising some awareness for The Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation who we partnered with over season 2019/20!

How: Whilst running 188km over 9 days is challenging, I’ve decided to add an extra element to this task! To symbolise the 10,627 runs (equivalent to 188km) scored by the 7 teams at Bonbeach this year, I'll be completing these kilometres in my full cricket attire, helmet, batting pads etc including our specially designed Zaidee shirts we wore throughout the season!

I’ll be conducting this run daily on the cricket pitch at Bonbeach Oval 1.
