What is Run Rach Run?
Run Rach Run is a one-woman fundraiser to help people in need of medical care who cannot afford to pay. Rachel Hill is an avid runner who has competed in more than 50 marathons, 1/2 marathons, and trail relays over the past 15 years. On August 17th, 2018 Rach will endeavor to conquer the 100 mile Kodiak Ultra Marathon in Big Bear, California. For every mile Rach runs, she would like to donate $100 to help fill in the gap for needed therapy care when insurance does not.

My goal is to run 100 miles and raise 100 dollars per mile.  Raising $10,000 to support Casa Colina’s 100% commitment to the patients they serve will make every mile worthwhile!

About the 100 miles
The Kodiak 100 is an ultra-marathon race around the entire Big Bear Valley to be held August 17-18, 2018.  With elevation climbs between 7,000-10,000 feet, it is an   excellent example of the   mental focus and endurance that patients with disabilities encounter everyday. Where the $$ going?
Money raised from Rachel’s Run will be donated to Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare to pay for medical care for patients who cannot afford it.  Casa Colina is a non-profit, 501(c)3 hospital committed to the preservation and quality of life in each and every individual who comes through its doors.  With multiple rehabilitative services for children and adults alike, it is the goal and mission of Casa Colina to provide care to all in need.
