Running has always been personal to me.
A way to push limits, explore new places, and connect with people.
This time, it’s about more than the run.
It’s about giving back.
The Running To Casa – 350KM Challenge is a 350km ultramarathon across Morocco, running from Tangier to Casablanca. It’s a journey shaped by movement, migration, identity, and the belief that sport can be a powerful tool for change.
Why this run
The journey starts in Tangier — often called the “door to Europe.”
My father migrated from here to Italy in the 1980s. Years later, I made the same journey as a child. Now, I’m returning on foot, reconnecting with my roots and giving something back to the country that shaped my story.
The cause
I’m raising funds to support Nabda Foundation and SportsAid— two organisations working to remove barriers and create access to sport for young people, under-resourced communities, and individuals living with disabilities.
All funds raised will be split equally between the two charities.
Nabda Foundation focuses on making sport accessible to everyone, particularly in under-resourced communities and for people with disabilities.
SportsAid supports young athletes across the UK by providing financial backing, recognition, and development opportunities.
The goal
• Inspire people to move, no matter where they come from
• Promote sport as a tool for confidence, opportunity, and growth
• Support youth and sports accessibility initiatives

Every step of this run represents movement, opportunity, and access — and your support helps turn that into real impact for young people through sport.
