Running with the Elms for Mum #DementiaCare

In October 2021 my parents' life changed forever.

When Dad was hospitalised, Mum with dementia was no longer able to care for herself. After a period of emergency respite care, we found The Elms.

The Elms provides care for older people with dementia in a safe and homely environment.

The change for Mum and the support for us as her family, cannot be put into words. They work tirelessly to source activities and find entertainment that engage, relax and fulfill the lives of their residents. The Elms provides not only exceptional care for our loved ones, but support and reassurance for every member of every family affected by dementia

I am using my ballot place won in the 2023 London Marathon to raise money for The Elms.
