Hello! :)
I’m so excited to share that I’ll be running the Tokyo Marathon on March 1, 2026. This will be my third marathon and my first international marathon! Japan is one of my favorite places to visit… especially for the food (I can’t wait to eat everything after the race).
This race is extra meaningful because I’m running as a charity runner for the Tokyo Marathon Sports Legacy Foundation, a cause that’s deeply personal to me. The foundation supports programs that promote access to sports, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles for people of all ages and abilities.
As a physical therapist, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people move, heal, and get back to doing what they love. One of my first clinical experiences was in pediatric rehab, working with kids with serious disabilities and injuries, where even standing or a few steps felt like a huge win. What stayed with me most was how much they lit up when they got to play and connect with other kids through sports. That’s when I really understood how powerful sport can be in building confidence and community.
Running Tokyo isn’t just about checking off a bucket list race - it’s about giving back to a mission I truly believe in. I’d be so grateful for your support, whether through a donation, a share, or just cheering me on from afar <3
Thanks for all the love and support,
Young
