Hi everyone! My friends and I have decided to raise money for the Irish Kidney Association, which means a lot to my family. My youngest brother Aidan is due to have his second kidney transplant on January 19th. He received his first kidney from my uncle Tommy, and this time, he will be getting a kidney from my aunt Emily, who is Tommy’s wife. The IKA has been a huge support to my family during this difficult time, and we want to thank them.

To show our appreciation, my four best friends and I are running a total of 440 km throughout January—the distance from Mourneabbey to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where Aidan will receive his second transplant, and back home.
