Hi, my name is Saskia Masaun, and I will be running the Wolverhampton Half Marathon on September 6th, 2026 to raise funds for:
The Barnaby Webber Foundation which supports young people facing life challenges and provides grassroots cricket clubs with essential equipment.
The Grace O'Malley Kumar Foundation which champions and supports young people and communities through sport, mental health and education
The Nottingham Forest Community Trust (in memory of Ian Coates) the official charitable arm of Nottingham Forest Football Club, which delivers social engagement programs, focused on health, education, and community development
Ever since the terrible attack happened, it has stayed with me as a reminder of how fragile life can be. Ian was not long from retiring, and Barnaby and Grace were just in their first year of university. I had finished university the previous year, and I couldn’t get over how senseless it all was. Their stories have stayed with me, and I feel a personal connection to the causes that honour them.
To challenge myself in 2026 and make a positive difference, I am running this half-marathon to raise £500. This is set up as a personal fundraiser because the charities are small, and all donations will be split equally between the three causes:
£166.67 → Barnaby Webber Foundation
£166.67 → Grace O’Malley Kumar Foundation
£166.67 → Nottingham Forest Community Trust
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real impact for these causes and the communities they support.
I will share updates and confirmation of the donations to ensure transparency. Thank you for supporting me on this journey and helping me make a difference for Barnaby, Grace, and Ian.
