Running the SYD marathon to support Heart Kids and Black Dog
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
This August, my husband and I will be taking on the Sydney Marathon not just for the challenge, but for two causes incredibly close to our hearts, young male adolescence mental health and children born with heart conditions.
We’re raising funds in support of Black Dog Institute, focusing on the mental health crisis facing young men, and HeartKids, an organisation supporting children and families affected by congenital heart disease.
Why These Causes?
Many young men face silent battles with their mental health, often struggling in silence and without support. These challenges can go unnoticed for far too long. By supporting the Black Dog Institute, we aim to raise awareness around early intervention, build mental resilience, and help create a culture where boys feel safe to speak up.
Being born with a heart murmur, Heart conditions can affect kids and their families in so many ways, not just physically but emotionally too. HeartKids does an amazing job supporting these families with care, guidance.
42km on August 31st that’s the challenge we’re taking on, and we’re aiming to raise $2,500 for each charity along the way. We’d be so grateful for your support, whether it’s donating, sharing our page, or simply cheering us on would mean the world to us.
THANKYOU!
